[Food] PrimaDeli launches Cheese Tarts in Singapore

CheeseI think baked cheese tarts is the next thing to take the Singapore food scene by storm.

I first tried the famed cheese tarts by BAKE Cheese Tart in Hong Kong last December. The shop in Causeway Bay saw snaking lines and I was fortunate enough get my hands on a box without having to queue. Have you heard? BAKE is coming to ION Orchard Singapore at the end of this month. Keep your eyes peeled.

Adding to the list in Singapore is our homegrown brand, PrimaDéli, with their newly launched cheese tarts just two days ago.

Cheese Tart-3

The oozy and molten Lava Cheese Tarts by PrimaDéli are available in two flavours: Original Cheese and Salted Egg Lava Cheese. I have a hunch that the salted egg cheese tarts will soon catch up with the ubiquitous salted egg croissants. Fans of salted egg will love the salted egg cheese tarts. The filling is a delightful balance of sweet and savoury, complemented by the buttery shortcrust pastry that surrounds it. Its signature oval shape makes it easy to identify among the contenders.

Cheese Tart-2

For the best experience, sink your teeth into the tarts while it is still warm so that the lava remains oozy. With that said, it can be enjoyed chilled. It’s all a matter of personal preference!

Cheese Tart-4

To reheat room temperature tarts, simply pop them into an oven set to 180°C for 5-6 minutes. Chilled tarts may be brought back to optimal deliciousness with just 10-12 minutes in the oven at 180°C.

From 8 April to 30 April 2016, enjoy the Lava Cheese Tart Original at $2.00 (U.P. $2.40) and the Salted Yolk Lava Cheese Tart at $2.40 (U.P. $2.80).
